Create a Halloween themed, limited edition packaging design for the Warburtons Fruit Loaf range.
The innovation team at Warburtons had decided to reinvent some of their family favourite fruit loafs for the Halloween season, and it was my remit to create a new limited edition pack design that would appeal to the products target demographic – children.
The solution was to create stand-out on shelf by turning the packaging into a family of bright and colourful friendly monsters.
It was important that the halloween theme was appropriate to both genders, and suitable for a very young consumer – therefore it could not be overly scary.
Product visibility is crucial within this sector – allowing the consumer to see the product and its flavourings. This which incorporated into the design through a feature window within the 'monsters mouth'.
